How I became a travel planner for Portugal

It was a few years ago. I just received the message that I won - congratulations! 😍 I'm about to become a Portuguese citizen! Of course it's accompanied by excitement, but at the same time - what do we do now? You have to fly to Portugal and bring the passport to be more precise the Portuguese citizenship or its Portuguese name should be said, and at that exact time I was busy renovating my fitness studio ♀️ 🏋️, between the big vacation and the children 👶👦👧, there was no moment to breathe.

So I tried, like all of us, to plan a family trip to Portugal quickly. It's just that I found myself searching and searching and not finding enough clear information in Hebrew about attractions, special places, and most importantly - what do you do there with children? 👨👩👧👦Portugal, with all its beautiful sites, does not always boast accessible and detailed sites, especially not in Hebrew or English 🌍.

📚 The books on the shelf didn't help, then I realized I needed to build a personalized trip. Since I like order but also flexibility 😎, I integrated my own digital guide, which gives the possibility to maintain spontaneity. For example, if I'm in Lisbon and the kids are tired 😴, I simply open a tab of attractions, filter by mood - outdoor or indoor attractions 🌳🏛 - and get an organized and detailed list to choose from.

I started researching, reading 📖, going to tourism conferences about Portugal ✈️, and then... it happened. I fell in love ❤️. I fell in love with Portugal. And not for nothing - but thanks to a close friend, Naomi Falah, thanks to whom I flew there again and again. Thanks to her, I discovered that Portugal is not just a tourist destination, but a real second home 🏠. I discovered warm, happy people there 😄, with a joy of life and a love for carnival celebrations 🎉 that just make you smile. The locals became real friends, and I started learning from them about the special places that are not mentioned on the internet. You won't find it on Google, believe me 😉

And here I am today, someone who can write books about Portugal - well, maybe not books 📚, but definitely posts! I plan trips to Portugal with great passion, I know exactly when the wave season starts 🌊, on which beach you will find the perfect wave ♀️ 🏄, and me too Receives direct emails from the Portuguese about opening new sites 📨.
