(Baixa) In Isa, being a relatively flat area, is a significant advantage in a city with hills.
If I had chosen other accommodation areas, they would have been in the central and attraction-rich districts of Chiado and Bairro Alto.
And for those looking for an authentic and slightly challenging experience, you can find gems in the Alfama and Castelo districts, with unique sidewalks and authentic but less well-maintained areas.
